TBM Cutting Tools & Spare Parts

Highly Reliable Design for Handling Complex TBM Construction Environments

Installation Accessories

Product Highlights

Designed for stable operation of shield cutter systems under high load, impact, and long-term vibration, Xinda integrates installation accessories as part of the overall structural system.

Based on actual load paths of the cutter box, sleeve, and cutter seat, key components—pins, bushings, bolts, and anti-loosening elements—are engineered to ensure strength consistency, installation stability, and long service life, rather than simple dimensional fit.

A systematic accessory configuration ensures stable connections and accurate positioning during tunneling, reducing risks from loosening, wear, or installation failure, and supporting reliable operation in complex ground conditions.

Standard Installation Accessories Configuration

  • Pins / Locating Pins

Used for precise positioning and primary load-bearing connection between structural components and the cutterhead. They carry major shear loads and serve as key elements for structural stability.

  • Bushings (Replaceable)

Installed at interfaces between pins and structural components to form a controlled wear surface, protecting the cutter box, cutter sleeve, and cutter seat, and extending overall service life.

  • Locking Bolts / Nuts

Provide reliable preload for structural connections, preventing loosening or displacement under high vibration and high-impact operating conditions.

Performance Advantages

Through unified and system-integrated design of installation accessories, the cutter box, cutter sleeve, and cutter seat can operate reliably under complex ground conditions and long-term excavation, delivering:

  • Stable structural connections with reduced risk of abnormal wear and failure
  • Improved maintainability for easier on-site disassembly and replacement
  • Extended overall service life of structural components and cutting systems
  • Effective control of downtime and operating costs caused by connection failures
